ELENA VINK studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music in The Hague. She graduated with distinction and was prize winner of various national and international competitions.

Her debut in Aix-en-Provênçe was highly acclaimed and led to several years of
performances as "Königin der Nachf' in Mozart's "Zauberflöte", a.o. in Lausanne, Bordeaux, Oslo, Nancy, Brussels, Berlin and Paris.

Elena Vink next performed as "Nedda" in Leoncavallo's "Pagliacci", as "Madam Herz" in Mozart's "Der Schauspieldirektor" and as "Donna Anna" in Mozart's "Don Giovanni".

Her repertoire, built up in The Netherlands and abroad, further includes a.o. Ravel's "L'Enfant et les Sortilèges", "Lucia" in Donizetti's "Lucia di Lammermoor" , "Oscar" in Verdi's "Un Ballo in Maschera", "Konstanze" in Mozart's "Die Entführung aus dem Serail", "Gilda" in Verdi's "Rigoletto", "Euridycée" in Offenbach's "Orphée aux Enfers", "Cunegonde" in Bernstein's "Candide".


In contemporary music she was guest at the "Festival dei due Mondi" in Spoleto and Rome, at the Hamburgische Staatsoper in Luigi Nono's "Al Gran Sole Carico D'Amore", at the "Hannover Siennale" and, regularly at the "Holland Festival", Amsterdam

Since 1999 she is teaching classical singing at the ARTEZ conservatory in Arnhem
